My praticals on Autodesk Maya (Unit 6)
Yesterday on 1/09/2018, I did a work on a an animation using a software called Autodesk Maya. The two videos shows an object jumping on to the box as the animation shown consists of 40 frames in total. To do this animation, there was a default model sample called 'Ultimate Walker" which was suggested by my teacher in order to animate its movements. When I first started Maya, I began to learn the basics of modelling a shape by researching tutorials on YouTube and most of them were at least an hour long. Apart from modelling, I also saw tutorials on rigging, providing color and animating. However rigging was the hardest because I have to be able get the mesh intact with the model.
Furthermore, I wouldn't even consider to use this for my FMP due to the lack of skills in modelling professionally and also to animate it would be a problem. I'm more used to 2D because, I've had all my skills to it.

This are the footages of my waving flag done on 4/19/2018. The texture I used to piece my work is the Unreal Engine 4 logo. Why the Unreal Engine logo you ask? The reason why I decided to use this texture because, it's a game engine invented by Epic Games and it has been around since May '98 and 2018 marks 20 years of its lifespan. Moreover I thought of using a much older logo but I used this instead as it is the latest version of the software.

Furthermore, I did a practical on a waving flag and the video below shows it. However I didn't require keyframing to piece the work. I used the tool nCloth and nConstraint. Before I did those, I added a texture to the plane. Overall, I did this by looking at a tutorial by Alexander Williams on YouTube.
The first one I made has an nCloth preset of its default. However I changed the wind speed of the flag to 30 and the direction to 1 but I did not apply any wind noise to the flag. On the second one, I doubled the amount of wind speed to 60, wind direction to 2 and biggest difference is that I did to it was I completely change nCloth preset to T-Shirt based and applied the wind noise to 0.1.
